I am psyched to share with you the first Locals exclusive interview here on The Drum Shed. I had the honor and privilege to chat with Dylan Carey from the rock band Jam Poetry last week. Dylan is a former student of mine, a killer drummer, an all around fantastic musician, and most of all a great person! It had been quite a while since Dylan and I got the chance to catch up, so this was a blast.

I hope you enjoy our discussion. My goal for this interview series is to provide a way for you all in our 🥁 community to learn from the pros, hear their musical journeys, and get inspiration to learn new things on our instrument.
