Alabama Barker accused of ‘cultural appropriation’ with outfit choice as she relaxes on yacht

Alabama Barker has been accused of cultural appropriation with her ensemble in new photos.

Travis Barker’s daughter regularly receives backlash on social media over her mature wardrobe.

On Thursday, Alabama, 18, posted a carousel of pics on Instagram of her rocking a skimpy yellow and green bikini and a colorful cover-up.

She accessorized with silver sandals and diamond jewelry, with a full face of makeup and her blond locks falling straight down.

The teenager posed, sticking her tongue out in one snap, and others captured her lounging on a yacht, putting her curvy figure on display.

“Does she know you call?” The Kardashians star wrote in her caption.

However, critics weren’t pleased with Alabama’s outfit choice, and many slammed her for seemingly mimicking African American culture.

“Ok cool, I was wondering when you were gonna cross the line into cosplaying as a black woman,” one person commented.

“Why she got on African American clothing?” questioned another.

“She really said lemme dress up for black history month,” added a third.

“Why do u pretend to be another race?” chimed in a fourth.

This isn’t Alabama’s first time being called out for cultural appropriation.

In June, the high school student raised eyebrows when she posted a TikTok video of her ditching her long blond locks for a black wig.

She again wore heavy makeup, a black, white, and red racer jacket, and jewelry.

Some accused Kourtney Kardashian’s stepdaughter of blackfishing and bashed her online.

“She gets all her inspo from blk ppl,” one critic wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“And it’s annoying having you ww copy bw all the time and not give credit y’all been doing this for decades like stop,” they added.

“Culture vulture with the baby hair, mannerisms etc. I bet she speaks ebonics,” another said.

Travis, 48, also came under fire for his parenting of his daughter and allowing her to post such risqué content online.

Last week, Alabama flaunted her figure in a tiny red bikini while lying by the pool in the backyard of her father’s Los Angeles, California mansion.

She captured her look from behind, showcasing her bare backside in the thong bottoms as her wet hair flowed off her shoulder.

SURGERY RUMORS
Fans previously accused Alabama of undergoing a Brazilian Butt lift to explain her extreme hourglass curves.

“Couldn’t wait to get that BBL,” one person wrote in an online thread alongside a recent photo of the star.

“With Alabama, though, her whole persona is stolen from black culture, so I guess it would make crazy sense that she got a BBL as soon as she could,” a second stated.

“Those are her real boobs but those are definitely butt injections,” someone else speculated.

Travis shares Alabama and her 20-year-old brother, Landon, with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, 48.

The Blink-182 drummer tied the knot with his now-wife, Kourtney, 44, in May 2022, and they welcomed their first child together, a son, Rocky Thirteen, in November.
