This is the pilot episode of Backstage USA. A show intended for national syndication. Produced by Michael Gibson as a successor to his “Tulsa Backstage” series. It was recorded at Long Branch Studios in Tulsa in 1984.
Interviews with Thompson Twins, INXS, Duran Duran, Adam Ant, Stray Cats, Stewart Copeland, and Deniece Williams.
Also, a behind the scenes look at MTV, and some classic commercials.
