Troubled Water – a song of Hope and protest
0
This is a mashup song of Bridge Over Troubled Water by Paul Simon and For What it’s Worth by Buffalo Springfield.
I recorded this in my hotel inn Chicago while rehearsing The Invention of Morel by Stewart Copeland. At the time he who shall not be named was just beginning his disastrous first term.
We fought back and swept back into office, and now after losing by a plurality of votes, we are in a darker period than ever.
We are just beginning this road back. We spent a lot of capital on the last election and it didn’t turn out well for us.
It was demoralizing and we were tired. But a little bit of rest has allowed us to stir once again.
The drumbeat of freedom, real freedom, is not an echo of the past. It is JUST AS VITAL today as ever.
I love America. 🇺🇸 But it’s time EVERYONE take a good look in the mirror. Look at what’s going down! America IS that Silver Girl, She IS that beacon & she needs our help
