Over the past few months I’ve been taking a deep dive into Stewart Copeland’s catalogue. Taking inspiration from his style and technique, incorporating it as much as I can into my playing. I’ve become a huge fan of his. It’s given me a new outlook on how to create interesting and intricate drum parts that – most importantly – serve the song.
