WHEN I PLAY MUSIC
IT’S LIKE MAKING A MOVIE, EVERY SONG IS A SCENE.
IT’S LIKE WRITING A BOOK,
EVERY WORD MEANS SOMETHING, EVERY SENTENCE ADDS INTENSITY TO THE
PARAGRAPH.
IT’S LIKE PAINTING A PICTURE, EVERY STROKE IS STRATEGIC.
The most important thing about expanding your musical diaspora, and exploring the linkage between sound and human behavior has a lot to do with what’s in the mix.
I have learned from those experiences to let music speak its mind, from my first radio job at KOKY in Little Rock, Arkansas, to DZYA in the Republic of the Philippines, (nagsasalita ako at nakakaintindi ng kaunting tagalog.) Sa Pilipinas. Ang pangalan ko sa radyo ay Agent OO Soul.
Then back to KOKY, on to KALO, in Little Rock.
Then, to WAAM in Ann Arbor, MI. On to WGPR in Detroit, MI, then to the following radio stations: WJLB, WHYT, ann Monroe, MI. Back to Detroit, to WMXD, back to WGPR, and my stop was WCHB in Detroit
The most crucial component otation is the mix and the flow
You not only have to flow through music, it has to flow through you.
The Police
The Police were an English rock band formed in London in 1977.[1] Within a few months of their first gig, the line-up settled as Sting (lead vocals, bass guitar, primary songwriter), Andy Summers (guitar) and Stewart Copeland (drums, percussion), and this remained unchanged for the rest of the band’s history. The Police became globally popular from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s. Emerging in the British new wave scene, they played a style of rock influenced by punk, reggae, and jazz.

Herbie Hancock
Herbert Jeffrey Hancock (born April 12, 1940) is an American jazz musician, bandleader, and composer.[2] Hancock started his career with trumpeter Donald Byrd’s group. He shortly thereafter joined the Miles Davis Quintet, where he helped to redefine the role of a jazz rhythm section and was one of the primary architects of the post-bop sound. In the 1970s, Hancock experimented with jazz fusion, funk, and electro styles, using a wide array of synthesizers and electronics. It was during this period that he released one of his best-known and most influential albums, Head Hunters.[3]

Visage (band)March 2012)
Visage were a British synth-pop[1] band formed in London in 1978. The band became closely linked to the burgeoning New Romantic fashion movement of the early 1980s, and are best known for their hit “Fade to Grey” which was released in late 1980. In the UK, the band achieved two Top 20 albums (Visage and The Anvil) and five Top 30 singles before the commercial failure of their third album (Beat Boy) led to their breakup in 1985.
