On this week’s episode of The Kardashians, the Lemme founder, 48, prepares for her trip to Australia to follow husband Travis Barker on tour with their son Rocky Thirteen, who was born in November 2023. While speaking with her sister Kim Kardashian, the mother of four expressed… About why she was “worried” about her next visit.
“It’s the best time to travel with a baby,” the SKIMS founder, 43, tells her sister as she advises her on how to protect baby Rocky from the cameras.
“You can either have a carrier and cover him or have a stroller for when you land and get there,” she recommends.
Kim then warned Kourtney, “Actually, the paparazzi are brutal, from the moment you land. It’s paparazzi town.”
Courtney says Rocky is “pretty easy” when it comes to travel, but what makes her nervous is the “brutal” paparazzi. “That’s one thing, I haven’t seen it and there are no rules for photographers,” she says of the laws in Australia.
In her confessional, Courtney told the cameras: “I’m starting to feel a little nervous about going to Australia. Rocky hasn’t been seen and in California, there’s a law that says if I don’t show a baby’s face, the photographers have to blur it out.”
“But in Australia, there are supposedly no laws for photographers, so they can take the photo and, you know, sell their photos,” she continues.
“So I think even when I know we’re on a plane with a lot of people, I feel really protected,” she adds of flying commercially. “It’s just a lot to think about.”
Elsewhere in the episode, the reality star talks to her old friend Erin Paxton about the stress she feels when it comes to balancing all seven children between her and her husband.
“I have kids of all different age groups — pre-teen, teen, adult, infant. So I really try to make one-on-one time with each of my kids,” Kourtney says during her confessional. “I don’t want to miss anything. It’s like feeling pulled in different directions, like wanting to be everything to everyone.”
Back on the scene, the Poosh founder told Paxton that she now “feels guilty for all the kids,” adding that she’s now a mother to a “bonus four plus three.”
“And yesterday, the guilt got to where I was like, ‘Okay, I should be doing more with the other kids.’ So I don’t know how to balance it yet,” she admits.
