Dennis Chambers makes it look so effortless 🤯 Dennis Chambers holds a special place in my heart. ❤️ Growing up, I would listen to Gary Willis’ Bent album over and over trying to figure what Dennis was doing and that led me to search for more of his stuff. Then I dug into The JazzTimes Superband with Randy Brecker, Bob Berg, and Joey DeFrancesco, and very shortly after, I discovered the smokin’ hot stuff he did with CAB, John Scofield, and Parliament-Funkadelic. 💨💨💨🔥🔥🔥 I really encourage you to check out his solo stuff and his sideman stuff! There’s a reason he’s one of the hardest working drummers in the game. 🐐

I remember hearing he played on Rappers Delight from Sugarhill Records back in the day. But I heard Dennis say straight from his mouth online that he did NOT play on Sugarhill Gangs “Rappers Delight” which many believe he did. (Super nerd stat!!!)🤓
